STOPPING THE HEAT!

Big question is who can stop the Miami heat. The task of stopping the Heat
hasn't gotten any easer for opposing teams. The Heat have added some size to the roster with the addition of Greg
Oden. This gives the Heat a much needed presents inside, which was the teams biggest weakness by far last year. But the health of Oden is the only question not answered yet for the Heat. So who has a chance to derail the train in South Beach.
The Three teams that can stop the Heat are
- Indiana Pacers
- Brooklyn Nets
- Chicago Bulls
The Pacers came very close to defeating the
a year ago in the playoffs, pushing them
to the limit. Paul George has become one of the
top players in the league and is getting better
every day and I think he could be a top 5 player by years end. Also having Roy hibbert in the middle of one of the leagues best defensive teams gives the Pacers a good chance to slow down the Heat. The one thing that might be a big help for the Pacers this year is getting back Danny Granger from injury. Getting him back could be the missing piece to the puzzle to get the Pacers over the hump.
The Brooklyn Nets are another team I
think has a good chance to give problems
in the playoffs. With the additions of Kevin
Garnet and Paul Pierce. I think the Nets are going to be a very hard team to beat. They are going to be hard to score on an they have two players on there team that are very hungry for chance to stop the Heat. Brooklyn also has a very good point guard in Darren Williams who will give Miami problems, and the point is probably the weakest spot on the Miami heat team.
The Bulls are a team to watch for but I'm
not complete sold. Getting Rose back is
a big difference for this team but I don't think
he can carry them the whole way.
If the Bulls want to beat the Heat I think they
need a least another scorer on the team someone who
can get 20 points on regular biases.
Will He Be #1

Jadeveon Clowney has been one of the most talk about player in college football since he made a huge hit on Michigan's running back in the Outback Bowl last year. Clowney has everything you want in an NFL DE, he has size at 6'6" and 274 pounds and has the speed of a wide out . Some people think that he has fallen off this year and he might not be as dominant at the next level.

But in my opinion I think he could be an instant play maker in the NFL and be the next Reggie White. He has everything you want to be the most dominate defensive end in the NFL and everything that he lacks or needs to improve on he can learn over time and the skills he dose have you cant teach. If he doesn't go in the top 3 I'll be very surprised. And every team the passes on him will regret it in 10 years.

NFL Problems
In the last couple of years in the NFL you have seen big fines to players for helmet to helmet hits on defenseless players. The most recent player that has been getting a lot of heat for this is Brandon Meriweather. He recently got a 1 game suspension for an illegal hit to Brandon Marshall. And had some comments about it saying you cant hit high any more so i guess you have to hit players down low on there knees and maybe give them a Carree ending injury.
I think this is a hard topic to talk about because I'm on both sides of the arguement. Its hard to see a player get taken of the field with a concussion, but its also hard to watch a player get a nasty knee injury. So where dose the NFL draw the line?
